We Three Mice

 


Imagine That Digistamp has given us this great set to play with We Three Mice set as the Digi of the Month for July. It is a progressive image challenge and as long as you take part with the image for that month you will automatically get the following one.

This set has the 3 wise kings depicted as mice as a full image in black and white and colour. You also get the separate mice stamps to colour and 5 really versatile sentiments. Kris is really very generous with the sets she gives us and it is always a pleasure to colour her images.



I would not normally use the 3 wise kings on a Christmas card but this is so cute I made an exception. I opted to use the full image and coloured the main image with Promarkers and used Arteza pencils for the ground and sky. I matted the image and sentiment with some dark blue card.

The card base is a matte gold. I added the image and then popped up the sentiment on some thin foam pads. To finish I added some gel pen to the stars in the sky and some gems to add a bit of twinkle.

    Oh so cute. Love the background you created. Whether intentional or just a camera thing, that gold under the image reminds me of cheese. And so appropriate for mice.

      It was intended to look like sand with pebbles/stones in it but now you mentioned that all I can see is cheese :)
