Tree With Presents Imagine That Guest DT


I was chosen as a Top 2 winner at Imagine That Digistamp challenge 9 with my Lorie's Peppermint Mocha card.

I was invited to be a Guest Designer for challenge 11. I have been a designer for Kris in the past and it was like old times creating with her images.



The image Tree with Presents has been coloured using Promarkers and Flexmarkers and extra detail has been added with silver & gold gel pens. 

The image has been matted onto red card and the card blank is covered with designer paper from DCWV.

As soon as I saw this image I just knew that the gold tinsel trim I have had in my stash for at least 10 years would be perfect as an embellishment. 

The star was part of a handmade paper topper that I have added as the pinnacle of the tree. The card has been finished off with a sentiment from my stash and self adhesive gems.

    It's great when a long term investment pays off Mandy! I must have items in my stash that are as old as my oldest child... and we're talking two decades! The tinsel embellishment was the first thing that caught my eye. I have never seen tinsel that small before, it sure makes a fabulous addition to the beautiful tree. Love the festive paper you used in the background too.
