I was the winner of Challenge 6 at All Fun Challenges with my Hope Butterfly Autumn Colours card. I was invited to be a Guest Designer on Challenge 8 which starts today.
The sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Stamps. I love Jodie's images and was delighted to be able to use this gorgeous image Flower Butterfly Vase.
I have used the latest sketch 810 from Stella Says Sketch for the layout of the card.
The image has been coloured with Promarkers and pencils to add some shading.
I used the Rococo Frames dies from Crafter's Companion to cut the image and also a frame from purple pearlescent card.
The backing paper has actually been rescued from the inside of a card I received. It was far too nice to end up in the recycling bin!
I love to re-purpose bits and pieces from old birthday and Christmas cards. This goes back to my early days of crafting when I would use bits and bobs I could find to add to my cards. There can often be lovely elements, sentiments and pretty embellishments that you can give a new lease of life to.
Following the sketch I added a strip of ribbon. The flower embellishment is a combination of a jewel brad, a silver jewellery finding and an assortment of paper flowers. Finally I added a peel off sticker sentiment.
