The prompt for Day 18 at Beccy's Place month long holiday cards challenge is the letter P.
I have chosen P for Penguin.
The digital image is Flying Penguin from Birdie Brown. She used to do a monthly challenge and give away loads of free images and this is one that I had printed ages ago but not yet coloured. He has been coloured using Promarkers and Flexmarkers.
I again used sketch 1 from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. All the papers and cardstock are scraps. The spotty paper and stars have all been recycled from old Christmas cards. Quite often you get some decent size pieces of patterned paper and card that are foiled and sometimes glittered. This sketch is perfect for using some of those.
The image has been cut with Nestabilities Labels 22 from Spellbinders. I then cut the stripy paper by hand and this gave me a corner to decorate with a bit of bling.
I added star gems in gold to match the paper and added a sentiment.
We are having 2 bedroom windows replaced today. It has gone proper cold in the UK and we again woke up to -1C and a frost. I will be spending a lot of the day holed up in my craftroom with my door closed, huddling the radiator, watching Netflix and making the last of the Christmas cards I need to make to complete the month of challenges Beccy has hosted.
