Angel

 



The most exciting time of the year is here!! 
The Angel is blowing her trumpet heralding the start of the best challenge of the whole year!



Beccy's Place for the whole of November runs a Month of Holiday Cards challenge. She is super generous with prizes every day for the best comment, speed challenges and weekly winners. There are always hundreds of entries throughout the month and it is a lot of fun.

My cards are usually Christmas ones as they are my favourite cards to make but it can be any holiday including New Year, Valentines, Easter and any holiday you may wish to create for relevant for different faiths and religions.

 The first Prompt is the letter A. A is for Angel 


The digital image is from M Medel Illustrations and is coloured with Arteza Expert Pencils.


I used a mirri gold card base layer and added some patterned papers from The Works. It is a 6" pad and the small dimension of the patterns work well on a smaller card.


I added a ribbon with the sentiment on it and some faceted green glittery gems. In hindsight I think I should have stuck the ribbon onto so white card before adding to the front as you can see the colour of the paper behind it...... I will know for next time. Every day is a school day!


I am going to try and join in with as many challenges as I can this year. 

I was disappointed as I only managed 11 last year so I definitely want to beat that this year.
