Rodney Reindeer

The prompt for Day 24 at Beccy's Place month long holiday challenge is the letter U.
I have chosen U for Umber

The digital image is Rodney Reindeer from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. This has been coloured with Promarkers & Flexmarkers. I have fussy cut around the image and mounted onto 3d foam squares for dimension. This has been mounted onto mats cut using the Nestabilities Labels 22 dies from Spellbinders.

I have used Stella Says Sketch 720 for the layout of this card. The base is a dark brown cardstock to pick out the colours from the deer. The patterned card at the bottom is from Docrafts with a metallic silver design. This dictated the use of silver mirri card for matting and layering. The other papers are from the Christmas Cheer pad by K & Co.

The bauble trim is a self adhesive ribbon. Finally I have added a sentiment recycled from a card received and some self adhesive gems as embellishments.

Card Details :-

Size - A5
Paper - Docrafts & K & Co
Dies - Nestabilties Labels 22 from Spellbinders
Colouring Tools - Promarkers, Flexmarkers
Embellishments - Self adhesive ribbon, self adhesive gems

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges (in Alphabetical Order): -

  3. Great design Mandy, I like the different layers you added, particularly the lovely shaped panel just behind the image. The reindeer is very cute, you've done a great job coordinating the colours for him. The silver mirror card is a nice touch too.
