Guest Designer at SSW 2



I was a recent winner of a challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 with my Mother's Day Card. I was delighted to be asked to be a Guest Designer on this challenge.
This is the sketch that I have been given to work with and I am pleased to say I made my first Christmas card of this year with it.

The image is a Penny Black rubber stamp Snowman & Hedgy which has been coloured using Promarkers & Flexmarkers and lots of glitter on the snowman and Stickles glitter glue.

The card is an A5 size covered with designer paper from DCVW. Following the layout of the sketch I have cut the image into an oval shape and mounted this onto mat die cut using a Spellbinders Floral Oval die.

I have used a blue glittery washi tape with a thin white ribbon which has been recycled from a new top I have bought. The sentiment is a digital stamp that I have had printed for ages. I cannot find on my computer which artist has created it but when i do I will give the relevant credit for it.

The image has been embellished with various snowflakes and blue gems from my extensive collection of Christmas stash.  I love making Christmas cards the best as you can use loads of twinkle and I love any excuse to add bling to my cards.

Is she back?!!!!" Well, colour me surprised to find out that it is indeed you my dear. You have been greatly missed my friend. Welcome back to the land of cardmaking!       aww Thanks Lisa. I have had a pretty turbulent time the last few years but mostly very good. Busy with house move and then unplanned building work. Still got lots to do and working too many hours but life is good. Dipping my toes in gently as I complete lost my confidence and mojo starting to come back :) Hope all is well with you my love xxx
