I have taken part in the progressive freebie on the Facebook group of Stamper's Delights and we were given 2 great freebie packs of stamps all related to our NHS Super Heroes.
I used the nurse from the pack Medical Heroes 2. The image has been coloured with Promarkers, fussy cut and mounted onto thin 3d foam squares.
Birdie Brown / Torico was one of my favourite digi artists and she designs rubber stamps now for My Favourite Things. They offered some limited edition digital stamps with a medical theme and the sentiment and pill bottle were from these packs. The hypodermic needle was a weekly freebie from Oddball Art Co.
I have added some home made enamel dot 'pills' that are made from pony beads that you melt in the oven. I bought a couple of small bags from Ebay and these pearlescent ones worked really well. I found the tutorial here on Creative Bug on the Loose a long time ago and finally got round to making them. For this style you put 2 very close together so they melt into one another. I am really pleased with how they turned out and you would never believe they cost only pennies.
The card is a double Z fold. I have never made on before. I saw Sara Davies making one on Crafter's TV and it looked so easy but really effective. Once you have your card folded it is just a case of cutting papers to fit on the individual sections. I inked around the spotty paper with an old dry inkpad.
I added the personalised sentiment, trimmed the corners with a Woodware punch and the light blue frame is a Classical Frame Die'sire die from Crafter's Companion which was one of the first dies I ever bought from there.
Unfortunately my friend has just tested positive for the Covid-19 virus so this card will hopefully cheer her up. It sounds like she doesn't have it too badly at the moment but I feel so sorry for her as she has caught it from doing her job, something which I am sure many frontline workers are scared of.

I think this is tremendously sweet and will be so appreciated. Ah, the hazards of working in healthcare... I don't think anyone expected something like Covid when they went to school for medicine.
