It is my Sister in Law's Birthday today and her Mom asked me to make a card for her as she can't get out to the shops. I offered to get one for her but she insisted she wanted me to make one as mine are better than shop bought ones. It is the first time she has ever said anything like that so I was quite pleased.
She loves elephants so I used the Birthday Elephant digital stamp from Bugaboo Stamps. I have coloured it with Promarkers and added a bit of sparkle using a Sakura clear glitter pen. I have added some gems to the star and heart symbols around the image.
I have used the latest sketch from Stella Says Sketch for the layout, stretching it to fit an A5 size card.
The base of the card has been covered with a glittered paper from DCWV. I used colours from that to colour the image and for the matting layers. Both sentiments have been recycled from shop bought cards.
